SAIT Wins 12th ACAC Championship

In a rematch of last season's championship final series, the SAIT Trojans required the minimum two games to sweep the defending champion NAIT Ooks.

On Friday, March 21st at the NAIT Arena in Edmonton, Ben O'Quinn completed the hat trick and added an assist for the SAIT Trojans as they downed the NAIT Ooks 7-5.  Sam Waterfield replied with a three goal performance for the Ooks.

On Saturday, March 22nd at the SAIT Campus Centre in Calgary, Clayton Cumiskey tallied twice in the second period for the Trojans as they edged the Ooks 3-2.

The two teams met 10 times previously in the championship final for the Bill Henry Jr. Trophy with SAIT winning six series.
