SAIT & Concordia Advance To Finals

Trojans Sweep Vikings

Thunder Sweep Cougars

On Friday, February 26th at Calgary, the Trojans netted a pair of shorthanded goals and a powerplay marker en route to a 5-1 victory over the Vikngs 5-1 in the series opener.

On Sunday, February 28th at Camrose, Blake Robson completed the hat trick and Clayton Goodall bent the twine twice for SAIT as they outscored Augustana 8-3.

On Friday, March 5th at the Calgary, Blake Robson chipped in a  pair and Ryan Hyland netted the winner with 9:01 gone in the first overtime as the Trojans shaded the Vikings 6-5.   Torrie Dyck replied with three goals for Augustana.

SAIT will be making their sixth straight appearance in the ACAC championship final series.

On Friday, February 26th at Calgary Centennial Arenas, Brendon MacDonald scored one goal and added two assists as the Thunder downed the Cougars 6-2.

On Saturday, February 27th at Edmonton, Justin Cote blocked 26 shots to record the shutout as Concordia blanked Mount Royal 1-0.

On Friday, March 5th at Calgary, Myles MacRae pocketed a pair for the Thunder edged the Cougars 4-3.

Concordia will be returning to the ACAC championship final series after a seven year absence.
