0-0 Ties Becoming More Frequent

There have been more scoreless games in the past season and a quarter than in the first decade of ACAC Women's Hockey.

On November 3rd, the Red Deer College Queens and the MacEwan University Griffins battled to the fifth scoreless draw in league history.

In 2010-11, the Griffins and the NAIT Ooks posted 0-0 scores in back to back games.

In contrast, the first decade of ACAC hockey only saw two scoreless contests.  NAIT and RDC played the first 0-0 game in 2000-01. The Griffins and the University of Calgary Dinos also kept scorers from both teams from lighting the lamp in 2004-05.
