Rachael Hoppins of the RDC Queens is ACAC Hockey Online's Player of the Week. The Trochu, AB native provided some key goals this past weekend as the Queens closed the gap on the fourth place MacEwan Griffins with a win and a tie this past weekend.

On Thursday, January 13th at Red Deer, the rookie rearguard scored the tying goal as the Queens edged the Griffins 2-1. On Friday, January 14th at Edmonton, Hoppins was named Player of the Game as she netted the equalizer once again in a 1-1 draw with MacEwan.
