SAIT goaltender Tommy Tartaglione is now a world champion. The native of Harbor City, California native shared netminding duties as Team USA captured gold at the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) Inline World Championships in Karlstad, Sweden.

Earlier this month, Tartaglione and four of his world championship donned the uniforms of Mission Axiom at the North American Roller Hockey Championships in San Jose, California. At the event, the former Western Hockey Leaguer recieved top-goalie honours in the Pro Division and the Pro Skills Competition event.

Tartaglione will conclude the off season as an instructor at the SAIT Trojan hockey sport camps.
