For a quarter of a century, the Viking Cup in Camrose was more than an international hockey tournament. The practice of billeting players to local families advanced opportunities to experience a different culture. Later this month, over 30 players from the nine most recent Viking Cups are slated to take the ice for nine countries at the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver.
